THE PROVERBS 31 WOMAN: A VALUES-DRIVEN WOMAN

Proverbs 31 woman: A values-driven woman.
The Proverbs 31 Woman
Lately, there seems to be more and more conversation about women leading. Women who lead in their homes, community, or workplace. As the dialogue deepened, I reread my post on A Values-Driven Woman and felt the need to repost for women seeking to live a purposeful, values-driven life.
The Proverbs 31 woman serves as a model for all of us worldwide, though depending on your personal experience, your perception of her may be one of inspiration or unease. A Proverbs 31 woman is respected and resourceful with a strong work ethic. She brings honor to her husband, places her family first, and cares for the poor and needy. She is wise and doesn’t live in fear. She is driven by her values. She is a woman with a heart for God.
The Proverbs 31 Woman is Not Flawless
It’s important we understand the Proverbs 31 woman is not an example of a perfect wife and mother. The Proverbs 31 woman lives life to the fullest and fulfills her God-given purpose. As she sets about her day, she strives to be an example for her family and her community. Verses 10-31 in Proverbs describe her qualities and provide an example for us to follow.
As we read through the qualities of the Proverbs 31 woman, we must remind ourselves that we are each called to serve a purpose for which we were created. It’s finding our purpose and holding true to who we are that challenges us. It is my prayer that you will find the virtues of the Proverbs 31 woman inspiring and encouraging. She is a wife of noble character, fearless because she knows who she is and what matters most. She lives with intention.

To Laugh at the Days to Come!
How many of these qualities do you exhibit? My desire is to be a woman who can laugh at the days to come because I have full confidence in God. As I read through these qualities, I pray God will reveal anything that hinders me from becoming a Proverbs 31 woman. When we trust God and surrender our will to His purpose for us, we will begin the journey of becoming the woman we were created to be, and it’s different for each of us. The Proverbs 31 woman was not written for comparison; it’s written to challenge us.
Let’s not judge ourselves or others. Let’s bring honor to God and our families by becoming a values-driven woman. Won’t you join me? Perhaps you’re well on your way to becoming the values-driven woman in your home, career, and community — I applaud you! I would love to hear your story. If not, let’s commit to supporting one another in our walk. Blessings!

If I may suggest, as a man who seeks to be in the likeness of Christ, which I see no difference in this distinction for women, I have discovered I do not need to “strive”, I need to submit to His will, persevere and rely on God to do His development in me as I yield to Him and let His patience lead me to repentance and to be empowered by His Holy Spirit. You ladies are terrific and it seems God is giving you the desires of your hearts.
Dnt struggle, just yeild your heart to the Holy Spirit and He will help you become who God designed you to be
Thank you for this insight. I particularly like your message that the Proverbs 31 woman should CHALLENGE us !
I had studied these verses before, and now that I’m in a different season of my life – studying it again; the verses bring a different perspective, application and challenge to me. Thank you so much for this write up.
I am an instructor, working in a vocational training center. I am training trainees and most of them are from poor families. They are not able to pay school fees nor examination fee. How will you assist them.
